Are you an experienced Construction Project Manager with a proven track record managing projects valued at $20-50M+? Our client, a 105-year-old family-owned commercial General Contractor based in Norfolk, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Support preconstruction services through design and GMP
- Manage construction projects to ensure work is performed according to plan and specifications
- Oversee material procurement, scheduling, change orders, RFIs, and pay applications
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate daily with the Project Superintendent
- Track job costs and prepare monthly reports for CFO review
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on-site
- Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues promptly
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide updates on project progress
Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Engineering or Construction Management
- Experience with Virginia design, engineering, and subcontracting trades
- Minimum of three years as a Project Manager in North Carolina
- Experience with CM at Risk and Design-Build projects
- ProCore experience preferred
